I got busy with a bunch of stuff going on in my life a couple years back so I couldn't follow their activities much or be as active online as I used to. Then, later on, I encountered another group (WINNER/KPOP) that I grew to love so I started stanning them.
Compared to ARASHI, they're more accessible to an i-fan like me & I was able to get by with spazzing over them through social media accounts like twitter, instagram, & youtube.
But the whole time I was stanning them, I've always thought about ARASHI also. I love the new group (WINNER/KPOP) but I sill love ARASHI too. I think that in growing to love another group, my heart has become much bigger. If I come across content about ARASHI, I smile & feel like a kid given a piece of candy. There's just this happiness they give me that I can't explain.
I tried taking peeks here on LJ & found that the comms that used to be active have quieted down. They were no longer releasing stuff too. That saddened me because ARASHI content is not as readily available to an i-fan like me. They don't have a youtube channel for their songs & (we) do not upload their shows on streaming websites. I started following some ARASHI accounts I found on twitter & I was able to find a renewed sense of happiness all over again.
Then I happened across my external hd that I only save ARASHI stuff in. I moved, got a new computer, got a new laptop, etc. Anyway, the moment I started going through the files, a sense of nostalgia came over me. It was like I was having a grand reunion with 5 of my bestest childhood friends. The songs they sang from years back & the things they did in their shows from long ago still fascinated me & still made me laugh to no end.
There was this feeling of contentment & this feeling of peace. It was nice to laugh like that again. I don't think I've laughed that much or that hard in a long time.
That's when it clicked for me.
I have to come back home. Home to where these five are.
